    Hey Mike! My great-grandparents on my grandfather's side were also German masquerading as Irish. My great-grandfather was impressed in to the German Navy and jumped ship. Ever fearful of being discovered. How they pulled it off is more than I can imagine during their time - must have had some great friends!
