    Why is the price of a round trip from the U.S. to Shannon and Dublin so expensive? Aer Lingus are killing the 'Goose that laid the golden egg" Wake up... American based air lines are beating the pants of Aer Lingus through other gate way cities other than Boston, New York and CHicago etc. Doesn't anyone in Aer Lingus have any idea what high prices do to 'load' on an aircraft. Just check Summer rates of Aer LIngus against any other airline that flies into Ireland. Shame on the over paid executives of Aer Lingus
