We Irish accept all visitors to our country....it is a nice feeling to know that now people WANT to live in Ireland...as close back as the 80's we Irish were still having to emigrate due to lack of employment....now we have jobs for people who find themselves in that position now.

I am grateful to both correspondents. I must point out that my original piece was never meant to denigrate immigrants or the process of immigration in any way.
