I think its a great idea to encourage the Irish language more, I live in Wales and there are equally the amount of welsh speaking schools as english speaking, it is pushed very much in the schools and when you have to ring any official line they speak in welsh first and then english, even the atm machines start with giving you the option of viewing the machine in welsh or english, all forms are duplicated in welsh on one side and english on the other even prescriptions, we have a nicer language so should use it more,we are losing our identity as it is with all the new estates with english names such instead of the irish names after irish historical places or people.
