My sisters and I are visiting Ireland in September, and as I enjoy poetry and Irish mythology I wrote this piece for the occasion.
In the darkest hollows, tawny beings stir to flight.
    Leaves drift to black pond.
    Offered bones chime.
    The cowelled woman,
    our eyes alike,
    clothed in velvet,satin and
    crescent light,
calls us through the voice of the Atlantic.
    cheers. Veronica
