Need Help With Family Tree

My mother and I are trying to do our both sides of our family but, have got into a problem on her side of the family. Her father's father was born in Castledurg, County of Tyrone, Northren Ireland and we cant go there to get the infomation due to health problems.
We were both wondering if there are any sites/links in Ireland that can help us. I know Patrick maybe a common name but I wish to learn about my family.
