: Many years ago and several generations back, my mother's family came from Ireland. I don't know a lot about our heritage and even less about the language...the IRISH language. I have to ask..is this the Gaelic language?
: I think it is really wonderful that there are so many people wanting to learn the language. I wouldn't mind taking a course HERE, if offered.
: I love getting the Irelnad letter each month. I love reading it...even your politics which I know very little of. Keep sending it!!

I also think it is great that the language is being kept alive. For the past few years I have been trying to teach myself Gealic mostly using the Irish On Your Own book and tapes. I also subscribe to the Irish word of the day through iGoogle and get a new word and sentence every day. I wish there were a school near me where I could really try and learn. Oh, I'm 61 years old and retired and really looking forward to getting to Ireland. Keep the newsletter coming.
