Do you have any more information about your g-great-grandfather William Mulligan i.e an area or townland other than Co. Donegal? Have you any idea what year they arrived in the States? I will check Co Donegal records but the Potato famine beginning in 1845 and lasting for six years. Any information that you have would make my research a lot easier
