Kildea and other spellings

Hi,My ancestor's name was Coleman Bernard Kildea. He died in Australia but unfortunately that hasn't revealed much about his birthplace. The Kildea spelling changes quite a bit too, particularly to Gildea. He was born abt 1834/32, family guesswork thinks it was in around Galway or maybe Roscommon. But I have no proof. He left the UK on the boat Australia in 1856 with his wife Mary Elizabeth (another brickwall) . Finally in South Australia (where he arrived) there was a huge Kildea family, but ive yet to find a connection. I believe they were from Galway.
Any help, however small would be greatly appreciated.
