I wonder if the terms like "undue influence" are distorting the democratic intent of the people who elected independents? The default logic is that a government must be binary, and that all else is a nuance at best.The reason we have so many Representatives is to have a voice for the actual people in the pollies' electorate, but unless he, (the pollie) is in a party where he cannot use that voice,you say he is a destabilizer. The nature of true freedom may be unstable.It is happening all over the world that people who theoretically have the choice to choose from more than 2 are increasingly doing just that.
