: It is really interesting to read what your country is doing to be more "E" friendly. The idea that you can tell homeowners they cannot pave their gardens over in order to provide a parking place would not be allowed in the US. I am not saying it is good thing just how it is here. On the other hand not allowing homes to be built on a flood plain is to be commended! Many homes in the US are flooded because they are built on a flood plain. I hope Ireland can learn from the mistakes we make in the USA. Please protect the air you breath. And protect your homes from mudslides and your earth from erosion. Get your old water pipes checked out as many in the USA are starting to erode and repair and replacement is astronomical. Some streets in SanFrancisco caved in due to water problems. Please don't lose the charm of Ireland while you advance your building etc. You will pay dearly in the end.
